Hey everyone!
My name is Kierin, and I’m a Senior BDM here at Six & Flow. Here's a quick glimpse into my experience, the journey to becoming a part of the Six & Flow team, and what my day-to-day looks like working here!
Born and raised in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, I’m a big-city person at heart. I love trying new things, exploring different spots in the city, and discovering new foods.
I’ve always been passionate about sports and was fortunate enough to study in the U.S. on a track & field scholarship, which gave me some of the most memorable moments of my life. These days, I still stay active by playing in friendly intermediate-level sports leagues. And on a personal note— I recently got engaged, which has, of course, been another major highlight for me!
Before joining Six & Flow, I gained a healthy mix of experience across fast-paced sales in a B2C environment, account management, full-cycle B2B sales, and some associate-level management activities. My goal was always simple: to become as well-rounded a professional as possible so I could confidently tackle everything from pre-sales to post-sales processes.
With a background in technical certifications and experience working in technical and SaaS-adjacent spaces, I had the opportunity to build a solid knowledge base of leading and niche software tools. I even got to demo many of them myself. Around the time I started thinking about the type of environment I wanted to be in long-term, I came across Six & Flow.
One thing that has given me an advantage early in my career is my experience working in companies of all sizes, from small startups with 10 employees to large organizations with 2,500. This exposure helped me understand the pros and cons of different work environments and refine my vision for the ideal company culture.
For me, Six & Flow checked a lot of those boxes right away. The hiring process here is incredibly intentional, and it shows because everyone is friendly, welcoming, and brings their own unique personality to the team (all fantastic, by the way!).
Because of this and many other reasons, making the move was an easy decision. The company gives you the freedom to grow and take charge from day one, which I love. That autonomy has allowed me to showcase my skills quickly and play a role in building our brand presence in North America.
Rich (our CEO) always says he wanted to build a company that, even if he didn’t own it, he would want to work for. And if I’m honest, I think he’s nailed it.
I’d be lying if I said it was easy! In North America, we’re in the phase of actively building our presence in the region, and in my role, I wear many hats.
From managing partner relations and establishing key KPIs and success criteria to representing the company at events and running full sales cycles, there’s always something happening at Six & Flow. But honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
If you’re a self-starter, confident in your abilities, and genuinely passionate about helping a business reach key growth goals, this role is for you. BUT, it’s not for the faint-hearted. As with anything in life, you get out what you put in. And if you put in the work? The rewards are absolutely worth it.
If you're reading this and thinking about your next career move, I can confidently say that Six & Flow offers a place where you can grow, learn, and thrive. The culture here is one of support, growth, and opportunity, and I’m sure you’ll see why joining Six & Flow has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
So, if you’re ready to take your career to the next level, reach out to us, we’d love to chat and see how you could be a part of something great.
