Last week was a lot of fun. I was invited by the HubSpot partner team (via David Murray) over to Dublin, where I hung out in their incredibly orange offices and spent a day talking about what it means to be a HubSpot partner.
Over the last 16 months, we've taken on HubSpot as a partner, hit gold tier, transitioned twelve clients to the platform, and also helped our clients revolutionise their marketing efforts. This often involved a move away from cold outbound to pure inbound, and this big cultural shock can come with its fair share of challenges.
During this time, HubSpot have not only helped us learn how to use the system and how to grow our client campaigns (as you would expect). Our partner team has also helped us to grow as an agency. They've assisted us in transforming our own sales process into a more effective inbound methodology. They've also driven us forward, often challenging us to succeed while providing just the right amount of support.
Frankly, I'm happy to wax lyrical about how HubSpot has helped us grow our little agency into something special. They've been with us from when there was only two of us, through to the present when we have a ten-strong team. We have a great partner team (Grainne O'Sullivan and Steve Vaughan) and they are core to our business as much as HubSpot itself.
So, when invited to speak, I was more than happy to give a little back (and I'm always keen to get Guiness straight from the source).
So, if you're considering becoming a HubSpot partner, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, and the above video should hopefully illustrate why.
JAN 2017 UPDATE: We've made it! Six & Flow is delighted to now be a platinum tier HubSpot agency, the second agency in Manchester to earn this prestigious title. We also became the first officially Certified HubSpot Trainer agency in the whole of the UK, and one of only a handful in the world. Read more here.
